MEX awards 2010: ON paves the way for new user experiences

You might have seen this already if you’ve read our excited blog post last night or if you’ve been following us on Twitter @lifeisbetteron and on Facebook – we’ve been awarded Best Commercial product at the Mobile User Experience awards 2010. The awards reward innovation in mobile user experience so to say we are chuffed to be recognised as being up there with the crème de la crème would be an understatement, and we’re delighted to see the judges respond with a quote that really cuts to the heart of what we set out to do from the start with ON:

We chose ON because it is, at heart, a multi-platform mobile user experience which brings a truly human dimension to communications

Giles Corbett head of ON at Orange Vallée commented with the following

on top of the award, it’s wonderful for us to see the interface and user experience offered by ON hailed by its peers

We would like to to take this opportunity to thank the panel of judges for giving ON the nod: Juha Christensen (Cloudmade CEO), Tim Green (editor of Mobile Entertainment Magazine), David Marutiak (User Community Ambassador at Vodafone) and Lisa Whelan (Managing Consultant for SocializeMobilize). A huge thank you also has to go to Marek Pawlowski, organizer extraordinaire, who made MEX UX 2010 possible.

Congratulations as well to all fellow winners and competitors including: MX Series, Woobius Eye, BlazeBroker and Freedom Interactive Map.
