New Android ON release (v 1.2.0.3) and updated web version

First of all we’d like to welcome users who’ve joined the ON community in the last few weeks. We recently released a new version of ON for Android (v 1.2.0.3) as well as updated the web version of ON, so if you want a roundup of what’s new then read below for the list of the new features.

Here’s an overview of the main changes for the new Android version:

  • Typed messages are not limited to 160 characters anymore
  • Worlds can now be reached through the tab button at the bottom of the app (without having to swipe the screen)
  • SMS can be directly sent from ON to a number without having to create a contact first
  • The SMS send box is bigger

We’ve also updated the web version of ON. Here’s an overview of what’s changed:

  • Logging out from the flash website will disconnect you automatically from the portal
  • Checking the latest activities of your contacts can be done in the a-z list view
  • Import your contacts into your On address book by uploading vcards from the website
  • Addresses of contacts can be seen on the map in the contact/location panel
  • Delete multiple items of a conversation or several feeds from a contact

Finally, as with all the releases so far we’ve corrected many bugs and are working hard to continue optimising the app’s performance on your handset.

Don’t hesitate to leave us feedback about your experiences with ON in our comment section!

And stay tuned on the blog, on our Twitter account and Facebook page, there should be new releases in the coming weeks…
