Don’t miss ON’s new Android release

The team has been working hard since version 1.2.0.3 of ON and is happy to now present you with our brand new release, snappily (and somewhat not surprisingly!) titled version 1.3.0.1.3  available on Android Market as of today.

Here is an overview of its new features:

• New Android version: ON is now compatible with Android 2.0 and 2.1
• Installation process: Call logs and SMS’s are now imported during installation, which speeds up the application once installed
• A-Z list: Your contact’s latest activities (from Facebook, Twitter or ON) can now be viewed from the A-Z list
• Easy access to the dialer: can now be reached directly through the Menu
• Improved conversation panel:
  • You can now forward conversation items by clicking on them in the conversation panel
• Application design:
  • Default avatars have been updated (for system feeds, unknown numbers and hidden calls)
  • Now supports high resolution screens (WVGA and FWVGA)
• Me card has been cleaned up (to show feeds only)

Web interface also updated!

• Info bubble explains each step as it’s happening
• Uploading contacts: You can upload new contacts from your social networks simply by clicking on the social network’s logo
• Organising contacts: A-Z list and Latest tab, the right panel appears when you click anywhere on the cell’s environment, not just on the name
• Matching contacts: after a manual merge, a confirmation message is displayed and the screen goes back to the beginning
• Social networks status updates:  Update your Twitter and Facebook status directly from ON
• Deleting profile pictures: from “add a picture” tab
• Application speed:
  • Upgrade of the “Latest” feed display speed
  • Upgrade of your contacts’ latest online activity download speed
  • ON contacts and social networks (Twitter and Facebook) friends linking is also faster
• Editing your “Worlds”
  • The world your contact belongs to is shown in the “World” tab tray
  • Opening the world’s edit function is now easier: just click on the upper area of each world’s bubble
  • When dropping contacts into worlds, the contact tray doesn’t move to the beginning each time
• In your conversation feed, updates made from ON are indicated with a small ON logo
• ‘toaster messages’ are now in white bubbles instead of black
