UPDATE 03/09/2011: And we’re back! You can now download the corrected version from the App Store or simply go to ‘updates’ on iTunes and get it there.
UPDATE 01/09/2011: Still no news from Apple, they started their review of the app a week ago now…
UPDATE 27/08/2011: We (as you) are still waiting for the app to come through Apple’s validation. At this point, it probably won’t happen until Monday. We are really disappointed that they weren’t able to deliver before the weekend.
UPDATE 26/08/2011: Apple’s “expedited review” (yes, we know) started at 1am CET this morning, so we hope to get their validation soon.
UPDATE 25/08/2011: We are still waiting for Apple to start their “expedited review”. Here, we are all on tenterhooks.
UPDATE 23/08/2011: We submitted a corrected version (ON Voicefeed 1.6.2) to Apple for “expedited review” on Monday morning and it should be available soon on the AppStore. Once downloaded, affected users will be able to login to the app and to listen to their voicemails. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience we have caused and please be assured we’re working hard to get this fixed as soon as possible.
ORIGINAL ARTICLE – Sunday 21/08/2011 09:28 CET
Last night, we published an update to On VoiceFeed that directs to the wrong set of servers. We withdrew it from the AppStore two three hours later.
- If you updated your app during those two three hours, you will not be able to retrieve messages via the app or change greetings. While we wait for Apple to publish the correct version, we are seeking a work-around. We will keep you posted here.
- If you are a newcomer who created an account with this version of the app, unfortunately it will not work, and we will email you as soon as the corrected version is available for download – hopefully by Wednesday depending on Apple’s approval time.
- If you are an existing use and have not updated your app, then no change, all continues to work as before, you are not affected by this bug.
In the meantime, please accept our apologies for a stupid and costly mistake.
UPDATE #1 – Sunday 10:30 am CET
* No accounts have been deleted. No messages have been deleted. If you updated your app from 1.6 to 1.6.1 will get a pop-up stating that your account no longer exists. This is not the case. You get this message because the app that you downloaded is pointing towards our internal development servers, where indeed, your account does not exist.
* Right now you can get your messages by visiting the website www.lifeisbetterOn.com, select sign in and enter your phone number. If you don’t know your password, click on the “Get password” link and you will receive it either by SMS or email.
* By tomorrow afternoon, you will be able to get your full messages via email even if you didnt have the premium option.
* Unfortunately we cannot simply “reroute” the calls from our development servers to the production environment as the security and encryption systems on the production environment are designed to prevent this.

I cannot get logged in nor will it allow me to get password by email. I have had several voicemails and cannot get to them. What is being done to correct this problem?
Stephen, did you try to listen to your voicemails on lifeisbetteron.com?
Aurelien from the ON team
